A little about us and Culebrón

Chris Thompson: Maggie and I moved from Cambridgeshire in England to Spain in 2004. Culebrón, is a satellite village of Pinoso and Pinoso is in the province of Alicante. In turn Alicante is part of the Comunitat Valenciana.We bought the house in Culebrón at the start of 2005. We had to earn a living though and, in order to do so, we had to live in other places even whilst we've owned this house. So, in our time we've lived in flats in Santa Pola, Ciudad Rodrigo, Cartagena and La Unión. I'm retired now though Maggie is still working. Our moves mean that as well as Life in Culebrón there are older, inactive, blogs called Life in Cartagena, Life in La Unión and Life in Ciudad Rodrigo. I also wrote some articles for the now defunct TIM magazine which are available as the TIM articles. We try to get out and about which is, I hope, reflected in the blog entries and the photos. Nobody notices the photos but the entries with month and year lead to photo albums. I'm old and British so my outlook on things Spanish is coloured by my upbringing and life in the UK but I hope that you will enjoy at least some of the entries!
